Two Languages :: One Love

The bride's family is Protestant and English-speaking. The groom's family is Catholic and Frenchspeaking. And it all came together on one magical day. Who: Tracy Moore, reporter and backup anchor on Citytv's Breakfast Television and Lionel Perron, TV producer and documentary filmmaker.

Where: The service was at St. Paul's Basilica in Toronto, built in 1822 by Irish immigrants. It was filmed by the National Film Board and Citytv. Opera singer Brenna Conrad sang Handel's Ave Maria during the recessional.

The Reception: 175 guests gathered at the Boiler House in Toronto's trendy Distillery District. The cocktail hour was in the courtyard while a jazz band played.

The Menu: Award-winning chef Jason Rosso created the menu. Hors d'oeuvres included honey and cardamom lamb chops, goat cheese tapenade and Asian spiced beef tartar. The dinner had food stations with seared ahi tuna, a roast beef carving station, pasta station and much more.

Honeymoon: Venice, followed by a two week Mediterranean cruise and then Rome.
