Crock pot corn and beef chowder
easy, nutritious, delicious
• 1 pound lean ground beef 500 g
• 1/2 cup chopped onion 125 ml
• 3 cups potatoes, diced 750 ml
• 1 can (16 oz) cream style corn about 500 ml
• 1 can (10 oz) condensed beef broth about 300 ml
• 3/4 cup water 175 ml
• 1/4 tsp dried basil 2 ml
• 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 125 ml
salt and pepper to taste
• In a fry pan, brown beef and onion
• Drain
• Transfer to your 6-quart Smart Set™ crock pot.
• Stir in all other ingredients, except cheese.
• Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours.
• Top each serving with shredded cheese.
Serves 6 to 8
