Sarah Burke & Rory Bushfield

Sarah and Rory met at a ski camp when they were 15. It was a few years before their paths crossed again. Sarah was starting her career in Freeskiing in California and Rory was competing around the world on the Canadian Development Team for moguls.

SERVICE: The event was a 72-hour celebration, all held at Cedar View Estate in beautiful Pemberton, B.C. On their wedding eve, the rehearsal ended with 32 friends and family singing and playing guitars around a bonfire. The next day, the service was held out of doors, followed by a dinner reception for 130 guests.

RECEPTION: The emcee was television host and skier Luke Van Valin and the celebration extended to the wee hours of the night. Sarah had her bouquet made up of multi pieces so that when she threw it, it came apart in the air so everyone could have a piece. The next day, Cedar View Estate served a breakfast before guests packed up to catch their flights home.
