Marianna Tsenhlevych & Tenny Tsang

Marianna and Tenny met five years ago and discovered a shared love of travel. They subsequently visited Europe, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and travelled all over the U.S.

SERVICE: First destination on their wedding day was Tenny’s parents’ for the traditional Chinese tea ceremony. As guests arrived for the ceremony, their pictures were taken in front of the tall ship, Kajama, a century-old cruise ship equipped with real sails and a cannon. It sailed around the lake as the ceremony took place at sunset. The service combined symbolism from both Chinese and Jewish traditions with a Huppah made by Marianna’s mother.

RECEPTION: A highlight after dinner was the dessert, a handmade cake wrapped in a thin layer of white chocolate that looked as if it were wrapped in silk. Later, the couple performed a first dance to “Have I Told You Lately” by Rod Stewart.
